Lenticular Clouds
tend to be fixed lens-shaped clouds which develop in very high altitudes, normally lined up verticle with respect towards the wind flow path. Lenticular clouds can be divided into altocumulus ranking, lenticularis, stratocumulus ranking lenticular, and cirrocumulus ranking lenticular. Because of their form, they've been presented as a possible reason behind some flying saucer sightings.
